Santa!!!!

Every year the PTO brings in a Santa to the school, it is so nice not to have to go to the mall and wait in line forever. The kids all still believe and I'm fine with that, it's a lot of fun to believe in something so magical.


Here is Melinda, she was so worried that she would forget what she wanted to ask for, so she asked me to write it down for her and she took the paper to show to Santa.

I think Emma suspects the truth, but she still wants to believe and I'm not going to spoil it for her.

Becca is very much mommy's little girl and this was just about more than she could handle, but I couldn't resist a quick picture. Later we had one of all of the kids and Santa and she was fine with that one because Emma was holding her.

Gordon was able to ask for what he wanted all by himself this year, he is getting so big.

I'm pretty sure that Andrew will believe in Santa for quite a while. I'm more afraid of how he will react when he finds out than any of the others. Then again he might surprise me and handle it very well. Either way it is something that I'm happy to put off for a while.

I was in 1st or 2nd grade when I asked my dad if Santa was real or not and he told me the truth, it didn't really change the magic of Christmas for me though, when you have a family that loves you and you know the true meaning of Christmas that's enough magic.
