Emma is 9 years old now, and she is very grown up for her age. She always wants to hang out with the adults wherever we go, and is constantly worrying about things that she shouldn't have to worry about. But she is very helpful, especially with the little ones. Becca loves her (she runs to Emma when mom gets upset with her).
I was at a loss as to what to get for her present, and she kept telling me she didn't know what she wanted. Finally I decided just to get her some CD's, she really likes Taylor Swift and I picked out Colbie Calliat hoping that she would like her as well. She is kind of funny when it comes to her CD player, she doesn't just shut herself in her room and listen to music, she always asks me first. I guess in some ways she is still quite young, but she is growing up just as fast as the rest of them, I just hope that she continues to talk to me when she is a teenager.
