Christmas 2009

Another Christmas has come and gone and the kids are all enjoying their break from school playing with their new toys. We don't have a lot, and what we do have isn't very fancy or even the latest thing, but they're always happy with what they do have, and for that I'm very grateful. I'm also grateful that they are happy to play with each other and get along most of the time. It's so nice to always have someone to play with at home, it sure makes my life a little easier.

The past couple of years we have let them pick names and buy presents for each other. They are almost as excited about watching the person they bought for open their present as they are about opening their own gifts.

I'm so thankful for our little family and so glad that the kids seem to understand the true meaning of Christmas, the real reason why we celebrate this holiday. They are such good kids and I'm proud of them more and more each day. I feel truly blessed and I hope that I'm the kind of mom that they need to be their best. I'm also very thankful for Ben, he is a great dad and a great example to our children in so many ways. I love you all and hope you had a great Christmas and wish you the best in the coming year!
