Here are their masterpieces (rainbows are a common theme here at our house). I thought the colors turned out rather well, but I eventually picked up some new paints, I don't really see myself making paint every time they want to paint.

Painting
A couple of weeks ago the kids decided that they wanted to paint. We soon found out that mom had apparently gotten rid of all of our old water painting sets, for reasons that I don't remember. I figured that there was probably some way of making our own paints, so I googled it and found a recipe. The kids thought it was great mixing up the paints and they all were happy painting for quite a while.
