Gordon's 5th Birthday

I can hardly belive it has been 5 years since our little whirlwind came along. I'm still amazed by his strength and his fighting spirit. It takes quite a bit to get him down and even then he gets right back up. He loves life and enjoys every minute of the day, I wish I had half of his energy. His favorite thing to say lately is "Yippee!" whenever he is excited or something goes his way. I love it, I need to find more opportunities to say yippee myself.




His birthday was on Sunday this year so we combined the family celebration with the one at Grandma Grimstead's house. Here he is cheezing it for the camera.


You can kind of see Papa's dog getting in the middle of things. He loves it when we sing happy birthday, it must be because his name is Happy, the kids get a kick out of it.

He was really pleased with his new toys a dart gun and Toy Story army men from grandma and grandpa and a Batman car from mom and dad. What more could a little boy want.
