Melinda's Baptism

I'm so proud of my little Melinda! She was baptized last Saturday, Feb. 5 in the old Santaquin Stake Center. Ben had drill that weekend, but he was able to take the morning off to be with us and to baptize and confirm Melinda. She was sick the day before, but was doing just fine on Saturday and didn't seem nervous at all even though later she told me it was a little scary being put under the water.

And here they are just before she was baptized. I think it is kind of cool that all three of our children who have been baptized have been baptized in the same font that Ben and I were baptized in when we were little.

Afterwards we rounded up all the cousins who were able to come for a picture outside in the cold. In this picture are: Katie, Ella, Andrew, Elizabeth, Aidan, Gordon, Melinda, Jentry, Samantha, Becca, Alle, Noah, Haleigh, Mason and Emma. We are so thankful for everyone that was able to come and for the thoughts of those that weren't able to travel this far. I know this will be a day she'll remember.
