Jr. Jazz 2011

Andrew absolutely loves playing Jr. Jazz every year. This was his fourth year and I'm starting to see some improvement. He is getting better at defense, he usually sticks with his guy really well, sometimes when they substitute on him it takes him a minute to realize that he's supposed to be with a different guy. He also tries really hard to be a good sport and not get upset when they lose, he actually was frustrated with his own team when some of them started yelling at the other team in the middle of foul shots, I had to remind him that he only needs to worry about his own behaviour. The other thing that makes me happy is he really knows how to hustle up and down the court. I wish that I knew more about the sport so that I could help him develop more skills, but at the same time I wonder if he would lose his enthusiasm for basketball if I started running drills with him all summer.
