Mini-Cheer 2011

Emma was the only one who wanted to do mini-cheer this year. Melinda is sort of on again off again when it comes to dancing and cheering. Emma on the other hand usually starts asking me when they are going to do mini-cheer as soon as the operetta is over with. I'm glad she enjoys being active and I hope that she can keep having fun with it.

Here she is at their first performance, it was a blackout game so they all had to wear black t-shirts. The orange ribbon is to show support for one of the girls at the high school that was just diagnosed with leukemia.

I have to say that I'm very proud of her, she really does a good job. I love to watch her perform.

I hope they continue to give the little girls this opportunity it gives Emma something to look forward to since she isn't interested in playing sports.

Emma is just like me in that she looks forward to cheer. I was always addicted to cheer when I was younger. Tell her I miss her, and wish I could be there to see her dance :( Their projects for book club were awesome too :). So glad you're good at updating on your blog!
