Camping 2010, Take One

Our first camping trip this year was clear back in May. We went down to Lake Powell with the Grimstead and Despain families. It was completely different from the kind of camping that I am used to, but we still had fun.

Here is Andrew with his very first sand castle. The kids really had a blast playing in the sand and in the water all day.

Here are several of the kids playing frisbee on the beach. Later their uncles taught them to play in the water and they had even more fun.

The first night we were there we got to see this beautiful moonrise.

Probably the worst part of the trip was when Becca got sick, we think that she just had too much sun, but after a little snooze with Uncle Josh she felt much better. We did have a great time hanging out with the family, but I think it will be a while before anyone convinces Ben to go back to Lake Powell, we are still finding sand in some of our camping gear.
