Andrew is really enjoying drama, their first performance was back in October. They had the option to perform either a song or a monologue. The whole class performed a song from Les Mis.
Here Andrew did a little solo, recapping the chorus from the group song. I love that he enjoys performing and he has quite a good little voice. I can't wait to see if he's a bass like his dad or if he'll be a tenor like my dad and brothers.
This is Andrew doing his monologue from A Midsummer Night's Dream. He's really good at memorizing (when it's something he's interested in) and he performed his piece very well.
They are already working on their next performance, Andrew is going to sing the scarecrow's song from The Wizard of Oz. I enjoy seeing how excited he gets before a performance, and practicing is the only homework I don't have to remind him about. I think he'll probably want to take drama all the way through high school.
