About a week after all of the other kids started school Becca was asking me for what felt like the hundredth time when she was going to get to go to preschool. Then she asked me if she would get to go every day like Gordon. After explaining to her that she couldn't go every day until she was in Kindergarten I told her something to the effect that she shouldn't be in a hurry to go to school every day because when she did mom would be left all alone here at home and I might get lonely. What happened next was just about the sweetest thing that any of my children have ever done for me. Becca went in to her room and got one of her baby dolls and brought it out to me and said "When I go to school you can take care of my baby so you won't be all alone."
Such a sweet little girl to be worried about her mommy. I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing in two years when she does start Kindergarten, but I think I'll remember that little exchange for quite a while.

Oh, that brings tears to my eyes. She is such a sweet little girl, and that must feel so good to have her care so much for you!
