Snow!!

We received a ton of snow on Christmas day, so much so that we didn't even make it over to Grandma Young's house just across town, dad was busy all day trying to clear the driveway and had trouble with the snow blower. Anyway, we ended up with just enough of a drift in the back yard that the kids were able to go sledding. They had so much fun and were soaked by the time they came in.

Here is Emma taking her turn. We only had one sled, but they were very patient.

...and Gordon, he had a harder time waiting his turn, but he's only three, and the other kids were very patient with him.

It was great for me, they had all the fun of sledding and I could supervise from inside the house where Becca was napping.
