Success and Sleep

Finally at almost 10 months old our darling little Becca has learned how to sleep all night. We had a long weekend for UEA when I didn't have to worry about the older girls not getting enough sleep and so I decided to tough it out and let her cry it out. She did a lot better than I thought she would, the first night was the worst and after that it has only been a little fussing here and there. I guess it is my own fault that it has gone this long, and contrary to everything I have been telling myself I suppose I have to admit that I have been babying her a little. Now if only I could retrain me to sleep all night, after 10 months of who knows when she is going to wake up it's hard not to wake up in the middle of the night listening for her cries. She still has issues with taking a long enough nap, but that is mostly due to the fact that Gordon finds it very hard to be quiet enough for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. To be honest he has a hard time being quiet for 5 minutes, but I suppose I have to fight one battle at a time.
