It is so hard to believe that Andrew is 12 years old. I certainly don't feel 12 years older than I did when he was born. He was a little nervous about this birthday because he knew that he would be passing the sacrament, but Ben took him over to the church the week before he was ordained and practiced with him. This helped a lot, the first time he passed the sacrament he did just wonderfully and he was smiling the whole time. I'm so proud of the young man that he is becoming, and I think that the new responsibilities that he will have will help him grow a lot.Even though I have mixed emotions about seeing him grow up it's exciting to see how he handles each new challenge.

Andrew really is becoming quite a responsible young man. I was so proud of how well he passed the sacrament and said the prayer. He is always ready to give me a hug. I love my oldest grandchild so much!
